Three databases offer electronic books with coverage of topics related to aging:
Ebrary | Search on any topic or combination of topics. Topics can be broad or quite focused. For example, the following search terms would bring back many results, because they are very broad terms: gerontology, old age, aging, retirement, etc. Post-search limiters help narrow the focus of your search results. For example, if you search on "aging," you can choose post-search filters such as "social aspects" and/or "psychological aspects." You can also enter a narrower search by combining terms. For example, "aging and housing." |
Ebsco eBook Collection | Search on any topic or combination of topics. Suggestions for narrower searches pop up when you enter a term. For example, as you type in "retirement," a pop-up box will suggest narrower terms such as "retirement age," "retirement communities," "retirement income," etc. |
PsycBOOKS | Full text database of books and chapters in the field of Psychology |
