Can I/How do I get an Indianapolis Public Library card?
As a student at the University of Indianapolis, you are eligible for a card with the Indianapolis Public Library.
There are two ways to apply for one:
- If you are a resident of Marion County (the county that Indianapolis is in), then you can actually apply for a card online through here.
- If not, then to apply as a college student, you can complete an application in person at any of their 24 branch locations. You must also provide a photo ID and proof of residency.
Proof of residency may include:
- Mail postmarked within the last 30 days
- Current lease or checkbook with your address
- University of Indianapolis course schedule with address
- Any official University of Indianapolis document with your address
