Some times you want to export the metadata of your references to share or use in another tool (e.g. Covidence). Below are the steps.
- Select references from a Zotero folder
- Right click
- Select "Export Items...: from the menu
- In popup window, select RIS as Format
- Save the .RIS file
RIS is a universal machine-readable format. Also, you can even open RIS files in Notepad (Windows), TextEdit (OiS) or similar programs to review the content.
